What we do in our connect group

Our connect group is a group of young kids and adults from age 7 to 25 who can grow spiritually as well as virtually do many things together, worship together, read the bible together and prayed for one another. We want to use the strength of each kid and adult to complement the weakness of another until they grow to the image of Christ. We want to see our kids and young adult finish the bible in one year, pray for the sick and speak in the Holy ghost as of age 12 and above. It is a burden in our heart. One of the unique moments in our connect group session is called passion expression: a time when kids and young adult expresses what they want to do for the Lord and their community as they grow older. Our kids can lead from a young age. Do you know that the current office occupied by Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel was the same office David occupied at 17?

The connect group will exhibit high level of creativity as they cook up new games and imaginative contests. House party, cooking contests, Bible quiz show and tells, online puzzle games, movie night, escape Room…. There will be something new to look forward to every week as the connect group finds all the fun available in the world in a Christian way.

Connect group members will encourage each other during the lows and celebrate the highs, such as the births and welcome of new CG babies (so cute!!).

Each CG will welcome new member at each meeting. We have set a target of 100 members for each CG by October 2023 and overall number of 2000 connect group members by Dec. 2023. Each member will tell their friends in communities and schools about their faith and what they stand for. We want our CG members voices to be louder than what the community echoes.

CG will be a second family that keep members connected and growing. Kids and young adults will share what they are going through and encourage each other and many more.

How is the group managed?

Each connect group will have a CG leader, assistant, and potential CG leader in their groups. These team will attend trainings and get supported by the CG coordinators who are between the ages of 25 and 35 years old.

CG Leader: Leading bible study, Coordinating CG meetings, developing prayer points and reviewing members assignment, prepare order of meetings, welcome new members.

Assistant leader: Reporting to CG Leader, selecting songs for the weeks, following up with members. Planning events and games

Potential CG Leader: Filling and record keeping including CG reports
